I am attempting to set up TekRADIUS using with MsSQL2017 running on a separate server with a domain account for MsSQL user.
But from our logs it seem like TekRADIUS is attempting to log on to the database using 'SQL Server Authentication’ instead of ‘Windows Authentication’, which would require a local SQL user account which is not wanted on our systems.
Can TekRADIUS be configured so the database log on can work using a domain account?

Please replace existing .exe files under TekRADIUS application directory with the ones in https://www.kaplansoft.com/tekradius/release/TekRADIUS-Update.zip Leave SQL server username and password blank. This will force TekRADIUS to use Windows authentication.

Thanks. I have updated with the new files, but I haven't managed to solve the problem. I don't quite understand what you mean by leaving the SQL server username and password blank? TekRADIUS does not allow for these fields to be blank and won't accept saving the configuration. And how will then TekRADIUS know which account to use?

Here is another update; https://www.kaplansoft.com/tekradius/release/TekRADIUS-Update-A.zip

TekRADIUS Manager connects to MS SQL server using credentials of logged in Windows user account when you set empty username and password for SQL server connection. TekRADIUS service account is installed run under local system account. You can set a Windows/AD account through Windows / Services for TekRADIUS service. This account must have "Act as a part of operating system" privilege.
