Problem - I can not authenticate.
First I made a backup, then I restored, I realized that there was a problem with passwords.
Made export of user accounts. The accounts are incorrect, edited, made the import, as the manual says. In the logs -
PAP Authentication failed for user 'xxx', User-Password does not match.
I still can’t authenticate. HELP

I read the file TekRADIUSLT.db3, I read the account export file, everywhere everything is correct. But I can’t log in.

What is set for Password Protection option in Settings / Database? You should set it clear text prior to import accounts if you have clear text passwords.

Clear text

Tell me how to edit the import file to load it with groups.
I set up the passwords again, but the wizard offers me to replace all the groups with the first in the list

Password Protection option in Settings -- Clear text

I had to agree, now all the accounts in the first group. The service does not start

Proto Local Address Foreign Address State PID
TCP 10.58.19.44:1812 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 644
[System]

There is no such process in the system and it cannot be completed. What do you recommend - rebooting ...

In the logs
15.04.2020 11:01:28.796 - Selected RADIUS Authentication UDP port 1812 is being used by Unknown. Choose another port.

15.04.2020 11:01:28.843 - Selected RADIUS Authentication TCP port 1812 is being used by Unknown. Choose another port.

By import
User account will be imported in to 'first' user group Continue?

Which import file should have the format and extension?
When exporting, this is * .csv
"user1"; "password1"; "first"
"user2"; "password2"; "two"

The manual provides information
Text file format

Username1, Password1
Username2, Password2
:

What do you see in Windows Task Manager / Services tab for PID = 644? You must use

"user1"; "password1"; "first"
"user2"; "password2"; "two"

format while importing through TekRADIUS Manager / File Menu / Import User Accounts.

1.There is no such process. The System process is now listening on port 1812. This is not the first time I've seen this problem, and I can only overload the system.

As I understand it, the TekRADIUSLT.exe process did not complete correctly, and now its parent System listens to 1812. Restarting the service does not solve this problem. Windows 2008R2 FULL UPDATE; Tell me if you know the solution.

2. rebooted
The format is the same as when exporting.
When importing a file with new passwords and restarting the service, I still cannot log in. If I do export, then the password information is OLD. Those. Import does not pass.
All passwords temporarily changed to '123'

'user1'; '123'; 'first'
'user2'; '123'; 'two'

You should see TekRADIUSLT.exe process in Task Manager Process List If this is the case. Can you confirm?

So it was before
User import does not occur. Changes do not apply.
You can change something through TekRadius Manager, only then when I export, I see the changes and the authentication really happens

Now
i have changed Manager only
When starting the New TekRadiusManager, users have only User-Password in profiles !!
I did a database recovery, after that I do not see the information from the Dictionary !!! And related attributes in profiles. What to do?
Again import accounts and again profiles only with User-Password

Import / export can be used only for user-name, user-password and group information.

Why then import?
As I understand it, import should only change user-name, user-password and group informatio
Everything else DO NOT CHANGE (DO NOT REMOVE)

i restore old *.db,*db3, start begin
FILE/IMPORT USER ACCOUNTS -- >> After that, everything is deleted in user profiles, except for updated User-Passwordws

And you tell me that everything is fine.
Import should modify but remove

There is a problem again. I checked the import, but did not check the work of programm; (

Attribute concatenation does not work again. Apparently you did not take into new programm your old changes in the code.
Take a look. Thanks.

Replaced files, restarted the service.
Checked, concatenation, imports work
Thanks.

PS
Later I will still have a question about counters - the Counters menu. After the update, information about failed authentication attempts is lost. To do this,i create a new branch
