Hi,

today I am back in the office and WLAN on my phone does not work.
After checking the TekRADIUS machine I see this machine is very slow because of high CPU usage of TekRADIUS.exe. The last entry in log file is yesterday at 23:35:30 o clock. The log file from today is 0KB.
TekRADIUS Manager I can not start.
Is there something I could do that you can comprehend this situation? At the moment I have so far nothing done, no restart or everything.
Version is 5.3.4.12 but I think this is not a problem of this version itself. I have seen this situation in the last half year around 6 times in diffrent versions.

Hi,

Have you tried to re-start TekRADIUS through Control Panel / Services?

Hi,

no I have not done.
Sure I could do this but the question is: In this situation of high CPU usage do you need something or can I do something special for debug?

Can you see Counters in TekRADIUS Manager?

The Manager is opend but no response. I can not change from users tab to counters tab. In the foot bar I can read "There are 22 active sessions." but I can not believe.

I have refreshed view in explorer. The log file from today is 7KB.Maybe Debug Message (Timer): Time overflow [6] is a problem...?

Can I read "counters" from file or Database?

You can see values for Counter through Windows Performance Monitor. Do you see other "Timer overflow" errors in the log file?

Performance Monitor is not installed. I have stopped TekRADIUS service. You see from stopped system the counters tab from manager.

Now I have machine also rebooted and at the moment it works. Many old sessions from yesterday are listed as active. I have cleared them all with account stop record.

This problem probably is caused by one of daily maintenance routines invoked by TekRADIUS. I'm investigating.
Have you applied the latest update?

OK. Have you examined Windows Event Log / Application for unusal events when this problem has occurred?

There are no warnings, errors or critical events in the time between yesterday 23:00:00 and today 12:00:00. Only two events as "information" called "Windows error reporting" which I can not assign. Maybe it has nothing to do with TekRadius.
