Hi all. Quick question. Is it possible to assign a vlan tag to certain mac addresses and drop them back on their lan with the associated vlan tag?

Thanks for the info.

You can create user profiles for MAC addresses and have Tunnel-Private-Group-ID as a success-reply attribute in theses user profiles to assign VLANs.

Thank you. I got it working. Can I specify multiple vlans for the user to be placed on. Say the ssid has 4 vlans associated with it. The user will be placed in any of the 4 in a round robin sequence. Is it possible to do the same here. For Tunnel-Private-Group-ID I set it as 202 for vlan 202 can I set it to 202,203,204 or 3 tunnel private group id settings. Thanks. Also how many users can I attach. I work for a large school district eventually we will have over 10k users. Can this support that kind of load. Thanks again for all your help..

You can assign user to specific VLAN. However you can create and run some external applications to alter user attribute externally and set user VLAN since all profile data is stored on a SQL server.

TekRADIUS has installations with more than 50K users.
