Hello,
I have tekradius running on windows xp box. I have RB433 and RB411 routerboards authenticating with the Tekradius server successfully. I wanted to know is there a way to give certain bandwidth per user. So as an example, if user a logs in the user receives 2MB of bandwidth both upstream and downstream, if user b logs in the user receives 3MB of bandwidth both upstream and downstream. So, could the bandwidth received by the user be controlled by the Tekradius server? Thanks again for the help.

Hi,

Try to Mikrotik-Recv-Limit and Mikrotik-Xmit-Limit as success reply to user profiles. See Mikrotik resources for details.

Best regards,

Yasin,
I've tried the 2 attibutes as you've suggested. What happens is when I get the login splash page from the Mikrotik RB433, I put in my credentials and submit but, then I get taken back to the Mikrotik hotspot login page. I've also tried using the below attributes.
WISPr-Bandwidth-Max-Up
WISPr-Bandwidth-Max-Down
Setup to success-reply at 2048 for 2MB. I got past the Mikrotik hotspot login page but, the speed was very slow. I could not find anything as of yet on the Mikrotik Forum regarding teh Mikrotik-Rec-Limit. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Yasin,
I got it to work. I used the following attributes
WISPr-Bandwidth-Max-Up
WISPr-Bandwidth-Max-Down

and set each to 2000000

I was able to see on the Mikrotik RB433 that it created a Queue for a 2M connection for the user that logged in. I did a speed test and go the results expected. Thanks again for the product and help.
