I am attempting to install TekRADIUS 3.6 on Windows Server 2003 which has previously run TekRADIUS 3.4. I attempted to unstall 3.4 but had a failed unistall so I removed TekRadius files and registry commands from the server manually. Now when I attempt to install 3.6 I get the error message "The older version of TekRADIUS connot be removed." What do I need to do to successfully load 3.6?

Hi,
Please uninstall TekRADIUS service manually as instructed below;
C:\Program Files\TekRADIUS>C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\InstallUtil.exe /u TekRADIUS.exe
Best regards,

Thank you for your prompt response. I have been successful in executing installutil to unistall the 3.4 service but still get an error "The older version of TekRADIUS cannot be removed" when running setup for 3.6.

Do you see TekRADIUS icon when you run Add / Remove Programs applet from Control Panel?

No. The icon is not present in the add/remove list.

OK, I recommend you make a registry scan for "TekRADIUS" keyword and clear found key and values.

I have carfully scanned the registry and removed all instances that refer to TekRADIUS and have successfully run the installutil /u command but continue to get the error message "The older version of TekRADIUS connot be removed." What else can I do?
