Hello,

I want to configure a radius server but I have a problem.

On Windows Server 2003, I configure Tekradius (user, groups , SQL) and I connect my server on the switch NETGEAR FSM7328. After I configure my switch (802.1x, shared secret ...)

and I connect a client PC on switch and there is no authentication, the client is on Internet directly why? thanks

Hi,

Can you TekRADIUS.log entries after setting log level to debug at settings / service parameters?

Best regards,

In service parameters, Logging is debug and in TekRADIUS.log the message is : TekRADIUS Service 3.5.0.0 is being started and TekRADIUS Service is listening on : 10.0.0.5 (3 clients). 10.0.0.5 is the network interface connect to the switch but nothing, no authentication why???

It seems that RADIUS authentication requests can not be delivered to TekRADIUS. Please check following;

1. If there is a firewall or IP filtering device between NAS and TekRADIUS please add necessary policies to allow traffic between NAS and TekRADIUS.
2. Check NAS configuration.
