Hi,

I am trying to use this in hotspot configuration, but i can't get Vista to login to the radius server.... I am using PEAP authentication.

If you could give me some idea of what to configure on the radius side.

Hi,

Basic user profile configuration for WPA-802.1X authentication using PEAP [PEAPv0-EAP-MS-CHAP v2 (As implemented in Windows XP SP1)];

Mandatory - Check User-Password
Mandatory - Check TLS-Certificate <An X.509 ceritificate stored in Windows Certiificate Store>
Optional - Check Authentication-Method <PEAP>

Don't forget to add your hotspot / access point to TekRADIUS as a RADIUS client with a shared secret key.

Best regards,

Hi,

You need only one server certificate. If you do not store server certificate on clients,
uncheck "Validate server certificate" in Protected EAP Properties section.

Hi,

Please be sure that RADIUS Accounting is enabled both on TekRADIUS and Access Point / HotSpot System.
