Hi. We installed TekRADIUS to authenticate a NOMADIX box (AG5000) for public users. Thank you - I was impressed how simple it was it install and make the authentication work.
We have experimented with User Credit so we can create a userid with, for example, 60 minutes time allowed. However, this is for non-continuous, time, multiple logon-logoff. (X over Y timing).
Is there a way to program the user's expiry attribute so the usedid is not valid one an hour has elapesed since first logon? Even if they logged off before the time expired? User Credit stops the countdown once logged off. Is there some program, script or wild-card that can set expiry is first logon plus X? I see I can set Expire Date to a specific fixed value, I want to set it to first logn plus X.
(Any suggestions as to a good source explaining each of the attributes available and what they actually can do?) Thank You.

Our installation of TekRadius uses SQL Express (SQL 2005) and SQL Management Studio.
Would it be valid for example, to create a trigger on the SQL database, to create or update the attribute expire-date when the account is logged on for the first time? Or would it be too late to update this once the user has been authenticated?

Hi,
Try to add Time-Limit attribute (Check) set to 60 for one hour to the user profile. This attribute provides the functionality you need.
Best regards,
