Is it possible to do a check on multiple NAS clients (NAS-IP-Address) in a group? I want to be able to grant access to a set of NAS clients for a specific group:
Group A - access to NAS client 1, 2, and 5 Group B - access to NAS client 3 and 4
Thanks in adbance !

Am I the only one who wants to use this?
When checking for NAS-IP-Address only one IP address is allowed. It is very common situation to specify multiple NAS clients to a specific user or group.
Thank you all for comments/suggestions
regards Marcel

Hi,
TekRADIUS allows (as of version 3.4) only one instance of an attribute in a user or group profile. Future versions will allow more than one instance.

Hello Yasin,
Thank you for explaining, do you have an indication when a new version with this functionality will become available ?

Hi,
It's very difficult to give an exact date but I think it may be available in March.

Hi Yasin,
Great ! I suppose there will also be a field available in the client configuration to specify a NAS-identifier for each NAS-IP-Address :-)
Best regards Marcel

Hi Yasin,
This morning I have downloaded the 3.5 version and wanted to change the group settings. I want to check on multiple NAS-IP-Addresses but it is still not possible?
I suppose there will also be a field available in the client configuration to specify a NAS-identifier for each NAS-IP-Address, this will solve the problem because multiple entries for NAS-identifier can be configured in the current release.
Thanks in advance for your comment.
Regards Marcel

Dear Marcel,
Here is an example how to accomplish this;
Create two groups, GW1 and GW2
GW1 Group
NAS-IP-Address = 192.168.10.1 (Check)
GW2 Group
NAS-IP-Address = 192.168.20.1 (Check)
Create Test-User and assign user to GW1 group and add Secondary-Group attribute;
Secondary-Group = GW2 (Check)
Secondary Group

Hello Yasin,
Thanks for your reply but this is not an option. In some cases I would like to assign fi ten NAS (IP Addresses or Identifiers) to a specific group or user. It would be a solution to add a NAS-Identifier field in the client configuration screen, then we can assign the hostname as identifier to the client. This attribute field (check: NAS-Identifier) also allows multiple entries which will be my solution :-) Hopefully you will add this functionality in the future, doesn't seem to be that difficult I assume.
It's a great tool and I will use it never the less. Thank you very much !
Regards Marcel

Hello Yasin, do you have any comments on this issue? Or will there be no support for this in the future?
Thanks in advance !

Hi,
I'm working on a more generalized approach for this issue. But it requires some fundemantal design changes in TekRADIUS and it'll take some time.
Best regards,
